Tight Modern, which showcases outstanding work by 60 marginalised and disabled artists, is a miniature replica of London’s iconic Tate Modern. The Tight Modern exhibitions are hugely popular, with entries from throughout the UK and abroad, and have toured to great acclaim in recent years.
Exhibits range from drawings, photographs, prints and tapestry to collage and relief sculpture. From hundreds of entries, the works chosen show remarkable creativity, observation and exceptional talent. All works are be on sale for £50 and previous exhibitors now sell their art successfully.
The Tight Modern exhibitions and tours are staged by Creative Future, an organisation which enables these artists to fulfill their true potential and to gain a public platform.
From May 2014 until early January 2015 Tight Modern toured its exhibition to: Brighton Fringe; London, ORTUS Learning Centre; during London Creativity and Wellbeing Week; The Towner, Eastbourne; and St Helens Libraries, Merseyside, 10 October 2014 - 6 January 2015
