The New Encyclopaedia of Brighton
The informative and entertaining New Encyclopaedia of Brighton by acclaimed biographer Rose Collis, was published twenty years after the original Encyclopaedia of Brighton. It combines the best of the original text with hundreds of new subjects, starting with 'Abattoirs' and ending with 'Zap Club'. The sections in the Encyclopaedia reflect the city's rich, diverse and quirky history, as well as the many changes that have occurred.
The book also features many new illustrations, maps and photographs, taken especially for inclusion.
