Tight Modern, which showcases outstanding work by 60 marginalised and disabled artists, is a miniature replica of Londonís iconic Tate Modern. The Tight Modern exhibitions are hugely popular, with entries from throughout the UK and abroad, and have toured to great acclaim in recent years.
Exhibits range from drawings, photographs, prints and tapestry to collage and relief sculpture. From hundreds of entries, the works chosen show remarkable creativity, observation and exceptional talent. All works are be on sale for £50 and previous exhibitors now sell their art successfully.
The Tight Modern exhibitions and tours are organised by Creative Future who work as a bridge from the margins to the mainstream: they challenge the perceptions held by the public, who are largely unaware of the talents of marginalised artists; and they challenge the perceptions that the artists themselves hold of their own abilities. Creative Future enable the artists to fulfill their true potential and to gain a public platform.
